I have a softball question about a song the teams sing?
Joe Torre is most definitely not being fired or pushed out of ny in any sense whatsoever. The rumors will continue to go on and on but in the end theyre all jsut rumors. The same rumors were going around during the 1996 season when the yankees were doing very poorly and everyone was saying that Joe Torre will get fired. In the end, Joe Torre led the yankees to a world series victory, one of the most memorable yankees victories in history. The problems occuring now are not that of Joe Torre, they are problems with injuries on the pitching staff. Once the yanks get good pitching they will succeed in making the playoffs in the long run as they have in the past.P.S.just a little fun fact, during the 1996 season, Frank Torre, Joe's brother, was getting a heart transplant in order to live longer, ironically, he is getting a transplant again during this season, this time a kidney, could it be a sign for better things to come since this is a remnance of the 1996 season?..idk..but it sure is ironic
Did anyone see Torii Hunter get blasted in the grill by Zack Greinke?
I hope he stays. How can anyone fire a manager who has won, what, 10 division titles, 6 American League Pennants and 4 World Championships since 1996? George would be out of his mind to fire him. If anyone should be on the hot seat it has to be Wayne Cashman. It's his job to bring in the right players and that includes the pitching staff.ESPN and the like are just trying to make news. He has won 9 straight division titles or 10 out of the last 11, but who's counting. That is what managing is about. As far as World Series wins all a team has to do is get hot. St. Louis last year or the Angels a couple years ago are some examples. Torre isn't going anywhere unless Torre wants to leave under his own terms.
Will Roger Clemens help the NY Yankees win the pennant?
Their is talk about it but it is not his fault the team is losing, Torre is one of the best coaches in the game, I am a Red Sox fan but also a huge fan of the game and Torre is such a great coach and classy guy. If anyone should be fired it is the GM Brian Cashman, he is the one who knew the team needed pitching and to sure up their bullpen and he totally ignored it. Torre can only work with what is given to him and it is not his fault they have a terrible bullpen and also a lot of injuries. I hope Torre isnt fored because he would be taking the fall for something that is not his fault. If babe ruth was alive today would he use steriods if he could?
No, there is nothing he can do about atrocious pitching. What player on your favorite team needs to go! The team needs to cut him?
if the yankkeys keep losing he wil be firedWhat the matter with Johan santana?
No way! I'm not particularly fond of Joe Torre, but he's one hell of a manager. He's won the Yankees a lot of respect. He's not going to be pushed out. Yankee fans are known for being forgiving. The Cincinnati reds portrait pack /10 all time reds stars?
Ok for one thing Joe Torre isnt going anywhere or being pushed out. He is a great manager and he loves New York. Im very fond of Joe Torre and think that he's a wonderful man. No one can blame him for the Yankees losing. He isnt the one pitching or hitting for them its the players. He shouldnt be critized for the Yankees loss. It makes me mad when ppl say that he should be fired when he hasnt done anything wrong or when ppl say the Yankees suck and they need a new manager. So just to let everyone know Joe Torre is staying in New York as the Yankees manager. GO YANKEES! =)Do you think Giants outfielder Fred Lewis will be an all star someday?
