What is the lightest bat you are allowed in little league baseball (pitching machine)?

Question:I bought my sone a 16 oz, 26 in bat. He is 7. His bat is way to heavy and I think it is a 18, 28in. He has been using a friends 17, 27 with a -10(??) but they did not have one when I went. Is this size legal??

What is a "HOLD" in MLB pitching stats?

i umpire little league and the 2007 rule book on the bat size for minor league ( a 7yr.old) is very clear on the heaviest and longest being---rule 1.10 the bat must meet little league standards. it shall "not" be more then 33" in lenght in minors for
senior the bat cannot be 3 oz. less then the lenght. minors it can be much lighter and the bat your son is using is probably as short and as light as made. I look every day at there bats.but on a lite side you could paint the bat pure white that would be lite! or I saw a kid hit the ball with just his hand! just kidding yes the bats legal and the rules don't say how light
