Who's been a better manager Bobby Cox, Lou Pinnela, or Joe Torre?
Question:Throw other managers out there if you like.

Are the cubbies for real? thye have turned it around lately!?
Pinella doesn't belong in this argument at all. I think he might be the most overrated person in all of baseball. Between the other two I'd have to go with Cox. He's done it longer than Torre and engineered a great turnaround with that team. They went from worst to first and stayed there for 14 years, no thats impressive. Torre was an average manager before he came to New York and all that talent makes him look like a genius. He's kind of the Phil Jackson of baseball. Great at managing superstars, but not as good when the talent level is a little lower. Cox has benefited from great talent too, but I still say he's better. In my opinion you should of added La Russa to the list because he is probably the best in the business right now. Winning the series last year with that pitching staff was a miracle...Will Greg Maddux end up 3rd on the ALL Time win list?
Bobby Cox without a doubt. He doesn't have the World Series titles to show for it, but he's done more with less than Joe Torre. Lou Pinella just doesn't stay with teams long enough.Do you think Tony LaRussa will pick pitcher Matt Morris for the All Star team?
In the last 25 years Joe Torre.Thoughts on ESPN going to regional programming??
Bobby Cox definitely!! He has done more with less than anyone in the last 20 years. No big free agent signings, great use of the farm system, and more division titles than anyone in that span. Torre has the luxury of having endless finances, Pinnela can't control his temper long enough to help young ballplayers. Bobby gets the hook quite a bit, but it's usually when he is protecting his guys not just showing off for the cameras (LOU). Even without Leo Mazone as pitching coach he still has one of the top staffs in the league! My opinion, but that facts are there! How long does it take for a fastball to reach the plate?
joe torre leads his team.he da bomb
Who are the clutch players on the Yankees?
Joe Torre is the most over-rated manager in the game. A monkey could fill out the yankees line-up card and win with some of the teams he's had. Bobby has done a great job, yes, he's had great teams also, but he's much better at handling young players and rookies. It always seems that no matter who they lose, some one comes up from the minors and steps in without missing a beat.Look at all the injuries to Yankee pitchers. Torre has done an awful job of managing his bullpen. Cox on the other hand has always had a great staff, mostly due to his selection of guru Leo Mazzone as pitching coach, now in Baltimore.
