Fielding (infield) stay in front of the ball, don't try to stop the ball from the side. Use two hands, bend your knees, keep your but down. As the pitch is delivered, take a half step to make sure you're not sitting back on your heels. (outfield) play a few steps deep rather than short. It's easier to run forward. Run to where you think the ball is going to go, then look up to track it. Use one hand to block the sun, then use both hands to catch the ball.Batting - Keep your eye on the ball, back elbow up, level swing. If you keep missing, you're probably dropping your elbow and swinging up at the ball or swinging too soon (if slow-pitch).
