They should try to find a new closer b/c Wickman is costing them games, even when he saves a game he is making the team squirm.what about rivera? he is doing the same job wickman is doing. its a slow starting season for these closers, give it time dude and only time will tell.

Wickman might eat his way out of the job this year. I think they'll propably go to Soriano or Gonzalez by the end of May IF this keeps up. I heard when we got Mike Gonzales that he would probably be closing by the middle of the year. It's not the middle yet, but I think it's time. Gonzalez seems to be uncomfortable in a setup role, and Wickman just ain't gettin it done.But Bobby is so blindly loyal to his players it will take several more blown saves to convince him to close with Gonzales.Barry bonds or Babe ruth on your current day baseball team and why?

Wickman has been an accident waiting to happen and the Braves even had questions about him 'imploding,' so in the off season they did acquire Rafael Soriano and Mike Gonzalez just in case it did occur...Gonzalez has closer experience with the Pirates andSoriano was being groomed for the role in Seattle before being traded so they do have the pitchers available when they decide to 'pull the plug' on Wickman.
