Question about Wrigley Field, I won tickets to a game in May. Is there a good way in there besides the L?
Question:Also, it said it included lunch at Sheffield grill... What is that and what kind of food. I'm assuming hot dogs.
If you know of a good place to get reserve in advance parking that would be awesome.

Sheffield Grill is inside Wrigley. They it is a bar and grill, and they serve pork chop, beef, burgers. Decent food - but the foot at the US Cellulars stadium club is 100 times better. But it is a good place to be before the game.Coming in from Indy - get ready for some traffic nightmares! There really is no choice but to take the Dan Ryan. It is a traffic nightmare because of construction, but might not be too bad depending on the time of day. Just be prepared for bad traffic. My suggestion to you is to take that to 55 (the Stevenson) north - to Lake Shore Drive north. Get off around Grant Park and park at a garage / lot there and take the red line train toward Howard (north). Get off right at the park. If you choose to drive all the way keep north on Lake Shore Drive. That way you can enjoy the awsome downtown skyline as you drive. Get off at Irving Park Road (Belmont is usually too busy), and go down Irving for about 2 miles. Take Ashland or Damon, and turn left. You can go to Addison, and should be able to find street parking without restrictions. Just make sure you check around the signs to make sure there are no parking restrictions for cars without local neighborhood stickers.
Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time. With traffic, and especially being a Friday, it will be packed roads all the way around. You will want to get into Illinois at least 4 hours early. And make sure you enjoy watching the White Sox beat the Cubs.

It all depends on where you are coming from. If you live in the city, take a taxi. I dont know about reserve parking, and I doubt it, all of the parking is pretty expensive in the area, thats why I recommended a taxi. What I usually do is take the shuttle service that is provided at Lane Tech high school. There is parking there, and it takes you to the park and brings you back. As far as Sheffield grill, I have never been there but I am sure that it is more than just hot dogs. Most of the bar food in the area is pretty decent. I'll be at the game May 9th. Is there a need for baseball equipment in Russia?
If you're willing to walk a mile, parking is not regulated around the intersection of Damen, Lincoln, and Irving Park Rd. (If you do a search for directions, the address you would enter is 2000 W. Irving Park Rd.) I usually find parking spots north of Irving Park and East of Damen.Also, there is a $6.00 parking lot at Devry (Western & Addison) with a free shuttle that will take you to the ballpark. This lot is only open for night games and weekends.
If it's a day game, you can still park in this neighborhood, or a little west on Addison. It's quite a walk, but there will be plenty of buses heading east that let off at Clark and Addison. Because the buses are somtimes full by the time they get to Western & Addison, I like to park further west on Addison, around Kedzie. Bus rides are $2 per rider each way.
