What ever you do don't embarrass the child by acting like an idiot at the games. Too many parents start to take the game so seriously that the child can not even enjoy it.Bring drinks and healthy snacks for the children. Have morale boosting parties for the children. Volunteer for fund raiser for uniforms and equipment. Volunteer to be assistant to the coach.

Just by showing up means a lot to your son. My father went to all of my games and just by seeing him in the stands made me feel great. Something you could do on your own time might be taking your son to the cages or helping him with his defense by maybe hitting him grounders or pop flys at a baseball field.help him in practice but tell the other coaches that u dont want to be a coach
