Who is the best MLB player with the least amount of hype surrounding him?
Question:i personally think it is vladimir guerrero. the guy can hit almost anything. he is well rounded as he hits for power, a high average, and can take walks. he also has above average speed. however, he isn't talked about that much in elite player conversations. i'm not an angels fan by the way. just wondering what others think.

Do you think the brewers are getting the credit they should be?
Roy Oswalt- In 6 seasons, he already has amassed over 100 wins (one of the fastest to do it over that time span... beating the likes of Roger Clemens)... has over 1,000 K's (not in one season...that'd be some kind of record), two 20 win seasons, and is a perennial Cy Young candidate (should've won it already)... He kinda flies under the radar because he plays for Houston... If he were in Boston or New York, the guy would probably be on ESPN as much as Dice-K.Has anyone looked at the twins new field model?
Frank Thomas an Unknown TalentWhere can i find baseball bats in singapore ?
my guy? i'd go with paul konerko on the white sox...he puts up great numbers, was huge in the clutch during the 2005 WS, keeps a low profile, holds the clubhouse together, and holds himself accountable for his actions. what's not to love?Who is your favorite yankee this year?
Personally I think it is Vernon Wells of the Blue Jays. Everything in that division is about the Yankees and Red Sox, so the other teams get over looked. Plus the fact that he plays in Canada seems to remove some hype. The guy can flat out play.Travis Hafner and Matt Holiday get honorable mention.
What is the most total runs scored in one inning combined by two teams?
Well if you are talking about all time its Ted WilliamsNow adays I would rank it
1. Grady Sizemore
2. Jimmy Rollins
3. Vladdy
4. Ian Kinsler
5. Russell Martin
Matt Holliday...He is so underrated
The best senior league baseball bats?
That's a tough question. I personally think it's between Carlos Beltran of the Mets and Joe Maurer of the Twins. Beltran was the silent MVP of the team with the best record in baseball (tied with the Yankees) last year. He is a terrific hitter and he plays a great centerfield. Maurer is unbelievable in that he's great defensiver catcher plus a batting champion. Push comes to shove I would pick Beltran as of now. What's your favorite major league baseball team?
1. Who doesn't respect Teddy Ballgame...? Thats rediculous.2. I think Vlad does get a lot of love as does Vernon Wells.
3. My vote is carl Crawford- 5 tool guy on a sorry *** team.
BTW I'd vote Konerko 2nd. I LOVE Vlad (again... 5 tools)
Lets Go White Sox!
If you were a pitcher and a batter charged the mound?
Jason Bay of the Pirates.@ dodger stadium in los angeles they have an all you can eat seats? what do they serve?
I gotta say Placido Polanco of the Detroit Tigers. He hits nearly every time at bat, fields very well, and is a great all-around player.Who would you rather have on you team; Melky Cabrera / Endy Chavez? Explain?
Vlad, Mauer and Beltran have plenty of talk about them. Vlad is the best out of all the players mentioned no doubt, but I think he gets a decent amount of attention. But dammit, I can't think of my own player for this. Maybe Teixiera? Hanley Ramirez? Are you rooting for the Tigers this season?
that's a tough, tough question...however, i'd have to go with todd jones of the tigers...he is still a lockdown closer now who has revived his career by returning to the tigers in his late 30s...everyone likes to talk about joel zumaya in the tigers' bullpen because he can throw 103 mph, but jones is the guy who is shutting the doorWhat are some good baseball bats that are less than $50 and where is that store?
Yes he is a great player but you said he can take a walk. Ive seen him walk maybe twice and usually when he does walk it an unintentional intentional walk.Who are the St. Louis Cardinals rivals?
Carlos LeeBrooks Robinson. Not a stud at the plate but arguably the best fielding 3rd baseman in History. A few others come the mind: Clemente, Musial, Dale Murphy.
Currently...Joe Crede just hit a home run to tie up the Sox Game but no not him...Man good question. No one on the Red Sox or Yankees, they get all of the hype. Ichiro maybe but he gets some hype. I have to go with Morneau, Mauer or Grady Sizemore. Even with the MVP Last Year Morneau flies pretty much under the radar.
In baseball, what is the best pitch to master?
Definitely Vladimir Guerrero. He's a beast, that when healthy can bash with the best of them. He'll be a great addition to the Hall of Fame someday. He's got a cannon arm, no one will run on him. He's not a very patient hitter, but he can reach anything that is pitched. Awesome player.Past his prime now but Greg Maddux has as good if not better numbers then any pitcher when compared to the pitchers of the same era's. But because "Chicks dig the long ball" and guys love strikeout pitchers he has not got his due. Look at the historical records on MLB.COM "stats... By the end of this season he will rank in the top 10 players ALL-TIME for Wins, Games started, and Strikeouts!
He is one of only 2 players with 300+ wins and no saves (Clemens also) and one of only 2 players with over 3000 strikeouts and less then 1000 walks.
Who else that is being discussed is one of the 10 best EVER at their positon and still gets over shadowed?
What is the most pitches thrown in the MLB by one pitcher?
1) Michael Young - Texas2) Vernon Wells - Toronto
3) Joe Crede - CWS
4) Carlos Lee - Houston
5) David DeJesus - KC
Vlad is an all-star almost every year. Everyone know him. He IS talked about as an elite player. I think he is ranked best right fielder by almost everyone. There guys I mentioned - I bet a lot know nothing about 3 of them at all.
