Bond's MEANINGLESS record, why don't they just walk him?

Question:Everyone knows that your head doesn't increase in size from working out and dieting.

We all know that he's a cheater.

Why don't all the pitchers agree to walk him each time he comes to the plate?

Not like anybody in the game likes him...

RE: MLB: What do the first baseman and the base runner talk about ?

I agree with you about the the presumption that he cheated. There really aren't that many people that truely believe he didn't use steroids, but the problem is no one can prove that he did. Even if someone did prove that he used them, Bonds would find a slick lawyer that would get him off of the charges anyhow. Proof would be nice, but I think everyone can tell that he was on the juice. Having said that...

The thing that gets under my skin more than the steroid use is the fact that he's still playing. He's playing for the single reason of breaking the record. He is not even in close to being in the shape a professional baseball player should be in, but yet he's still out there. I think it's something that needs to be taken care of from the League Officials, to the Owners, to the Managers, to the players, to the fans. League Officials need to find the proof necessary to show that he used steroids...owners need to stop paying him ridiculous money for mediocre ballplaying, managers need to realize that he's a liability in the lineup defensively, players need to step up and say what they really think, and fans need to stop supporting him. This will probably never happen, but one can hope.

Oh, by the way, this is not a racial issue, no matter how much the media want it to be.

Who's the greatest Major League baseball pitcher of all time?

If the record's so meaningless, then why are you whining about it? Lots of players "cheated," not just Bonds. Shouldn't you want all the cheaters to be out of the game? Or do you only care about Bonds because of the record? If that's the case, it's not very meaningless, is it? Too many people suddenly cared about baseball and the steroids issue when Bonds got closer to the record. I have no respect for these so-called fans. I'm looking forward to Bonds breaking the record, because I've watched him be a star since the 80s. The same way I was looking forward to seeing McGwire and Sosa battle past Maris' record. I really wish people would stop acting as if Bonds was the only guy to ever cheat. Boycott and ignore the past 2 decades of MLB, if you care so much about cheating. Don't single out Bonds. On top of all that, atleast find some 100%-sure proof before hanging Bonds for 20 years of steroid use by an entire league.

Did Alex Rodriguez make a deal with the devil? If not, what do you think is responsible for his turnaround?

i have to agree with dethklok, if you find the record meaningless then it isn't worth talking about

and the thing i find more infuriating even than him wasting his time chasing the record and not being in baseball shape is that he doesn't care if his team wins or not, he is in it for the record all the way...he doesn't even go out there more than two-thirds of the games anyway

Reason for having an agent for mlb draft?

How ignorant. 1st of all, you have ZERO evidence that he has ver cheated. Secondly, if he cheated, you can bet that the majority of those pitchers have cheated, too. Thirdly, walking him every time he's up is going to lead to a lot of runs and a lot of wins for the Giants.

Are you "in the game"? I didn't think so. So how can you possibly know who likes him and who doesn't?

You do know that a recent poll shows that most fans would recognize him as the HR King, and support his induction into the Hall Of Fame?

"owners need to stop paying him ridiculous money for mediocre ballplaying"

LMAO! Checked his stats lately?

"he doesn't even go out there more than two-thirds of the games anyway "

Don't follow baseball much, do you?
