What became of Phil Plantier (Red Sox, Padres, A's, Cardinals)?

Question:Phil Plantier was my favorite player on the 1992 Boston Red Sox. His major league career ended in 1997, but I don't know what happened to him after that. Does anyone know his whereabouts?

He has 3 children and is married.
i live in Fresno and traveled to my hometown of San Diego this March and spent time with him, hes an all around great guy
