All 3 of the pitchers you mentioned have a chance for the Cy Young at this point. Even Roger Clemens could win it if he has a great season from here on out ., Its a long season, only 30 or so games played so far, 1/5th of season. Based on the names, #1 is Beckett, #2 Verlander and #3 is kazmir. dont forget about Roy Halladay of the Blue Jays, if they stay in wild card contention until late september and he continues to have success, he might win it. then theres also Santana on Twins.Is it just me, or is Curt Schilling the biggest douche in baseball?

Kazmir doesn't, but not because of his talent. His team won't give him the chance to win.Verlander could but not likely, he doesn't dominate even with his 100mph fastball.

Of course they all do. Verlander doesn't have the wins right now but has been pitching well. Beckett looks like he is the best pitcher in the majors right now and could continue. Kazmir is a good pitcher who hasn't shown his full potential yet this year. Of course Johanne Santana is always a favorite but I think he has a lot of competition this year and one of these three guys, or Roy Halladay, will win it.Have you met any MLB players? Only if Santana and Halladay completely lose their ability to pitch or are both traded to the NL.Kazmir would also have to be on a much better team and stay healthy. He has yet to prove that he can stay helathy.

Halladay, Santana---all these names tossed around. I say Beckett or CC Sabathia. Beckett is a work horse---CC is a legit ace since last year--one of the lowest era's in baseball last season.
