No, he simply said he may have taken a banned substance when he was growing up in the Dominican, he took a protein shake that he bought at a GNC type store, down in the Dominican the market for such products is not regulated and there could have been a banned substance in the product. He was making a point that people need to watch what they are putting in their bodies. He also said that he would not take steroids because they are so dangerous and destroy your liver. I do not think he took them but of course Red Sox haters will be jumping all over it as they already have been.Oh and to the guy who said DH should be eligible for MVP, it is a position so it is eligible for the MVP unless you do not know a thing about baseball.

I can almost guarantee you that 99.99% of ALL players take some form of steroids. So many people think that steroids=huge muscles. But this is incorrect. There are steroids that affect strength, bulk, stamina, cutting cycles, recovery/rehab cycles, and other that you would never know about because they aren't visibly obvious.
