Help...Please!?

In a word NO.Sammy while in the steroid era had some great numbers. His over all play should be considered. Once thought of as a five tool player he succumbed to the home run and the corked bats and the steroids. Forgot what a cutoff man was and forgot what a stolen base was. Don't forget his range in the field deteriorated at this time and he became an adequate fielder at best. So NO!!!

Is asking your offense to score 16 runs for support asking a lot?

Pete Rose has the numbers and i think he should be in. Without the off field stuff he is 100 percent in. Sosa dont have the numbers and wont have the numbers. He has tons of off field things and on field things. The roids, the infamous bat cork, etc. etc. Even with those he dont have the numbers to get into the hall. He has more strikeouts than hits. He dont even have 2000 hits. Not great fielder. Only hall he could make is if they came up with one that was for Great homerun hitters that didnt do anything else.

What does Barry Bonds mean to Pop-Culture 'today'?

Yes, he is the only player in MLB to have three seasons of 60 or more home runs. Has anybody ever proven beyond reasonable doubt that he used steroids? I seem to recall that in this country you are innocent until proven guilty or something to that effect. Therefore, there is a big cloud over baseball in general for the era of the monster hitters, but as of today, no proof whatsoever that he did use steroids. Therefore, given that fact, he should be in, unless there is proof to the contrary, like Rafael Palmeiro, that was caught after he denied ever using them and then tried to blame somebody else for his cheating. Same goes for Big Mac, you can say whatever you want, but there is no positive sample of his that proves beyond reasonable doubt that he ever used illegal steroids. The Andro that he was using was not illegal in MLB at the time that he was playing.
