Freshman Baseball...do i need a bat?
Question:I'm a freshman in high school, and I'm out for the baseball team. I have played in a different league for about eight years, and bats were provided. This year, we need our own bats, but I can't afford one. I have to make car payments and pay insurance (and gas). How can I afford a bat too.

Dam. I'm a junior and i just turned 16, use someone else's if they let you.try doin some work around the house or for neighbors. a good easton typhoon bat should only cost 60 bucks and its a good bat. by the way your team should provide at least one team bat. you should complain about that. good luck!

Save up. Don't drive around so much. You really don't need an expensive bat to be a good hitter. Good mechanics is all you need. Borrow one from a teammate, i mean because you are teammates. And if anything, bid on one from ebay. Good luck!More Questions & Answers...
