Brew Crew going to keep on rolling?
Question:The Brewers are 25-12 and are leading the central by 7.0 games. They have great pitching and better hitting, can they really keep this going?
Answers:
It's possible, but they have a lot of teams to worry about that heat up during mid to late season, cards, stros, cinci.
They have some fearce compitition, but then again everyone in the division is under .500 by atleast 15 points. I wouldnt say the pitching is there just lack of hitting by the opposition. And as for hitting the team average is .269 so...we'll see what happens
Which MLB team holds the best record in 2007 so far, and which team have the best chances to win?
they aren't going to keep up this pace they're at right now, but they are definitely capable of holding on to win the central...the big key is seeing whether or not they can survive the summer with a division lead as big as they have it...if they can, than they will be in great position to win the central, but if they can't then i think their inexperience will show in some key situations when a playoff spot is on the lineI keep hearing that the Brewers will fall apart because they are too inexperienced. Sure Prince, JJ, Rickie and Billy are young, but people forget there are 5 World Series rings on the roster as well. Obviously Suppan, also Damian Miller, Matt Wise and Craig Counsell with two. They've been to the highest level in baseball and succeeded, and you can bet the young guys on the team are going to learn from what they can offer. Just because it's Prince and JJ making ESPN highlights, doesn't mean everyone on the Brewers is new to winning.
Did you see Igawa try to hit that guy on the upper deck?
Not a chance in hell. Sorry to the Brewer fans out there, but they are over-performing, big time. JJ Hardy will not hit the 40 homers he's on pace for, Sheets is not the pitcher he used to be, and the youth on the team is just starting to figure it out. The Cardinals, Astros, and Cubs will all eventually start playing like they should, and that will spell trouble for the Brewers. All is not lost for Brewer fans, though. It's a great young squad that will make a big jump this year. Add minor league phenom Ryan Braun to the mix, and you have a team that could make a serious run at it all in the next year or two. As for their veterans, yes, Suppan was a great pickup and should carry the staff this year.but what experienced stars do they have? ...even if Craig Counsell has 2 series rings, his .200 avg won't get you to the promised land. Don't get your hopes up for the playoffs this year, just enjoy watching the Brewers begin to mature into a contender.Which hotel do the visitors(baseball) stay at when they are playing the San Diego Padres?
They have GOOD pitching, NOT GREAT. You brew crewers need to wake up and get over it for awhile. Still about 130 games to go.More Questions & Answers...
