How is baseball's regular season created?
They need picthing right now.I think the best fit for your team is maybe like a James Shields from Tampa Bay.They don't have much money and their ace of the future is Kazmir.Shields should pitch like an ace for years to come so they aren't going to be able to afford his arm once he's proven himself a full season and demands an ace like contract.Maybe they can give up a Looper or Kip Wells for him with some cash or a prospect.I wouldn't dump Wainright for anything just yet cause its far to soon to consider him a bust.He needs at least 3 full seasons as a starter to reach whatever his maximum potential might be.Cardinals did some experimenting with Looper and Wainright as starters and their success in the Preseason hasn't carried over to the regular season. If they get a Shields they make two improvements. They get a starter with immense talent and they get Wainright out of the rotation to bolster the bullpen in relief where he is most effective at least for now.
What major league baseball player has the record for most times injured?
In order to trade for a player, you have to have healthy players, on the 25-man roster, the 40-man roster, or somewhere in the organization that another team wants. This does not mean that you can trade a couple of low-level prospects and a bag of balls to get, say, even a #3 starting pitcher.Does that reality change your POV?
Whats the best trade in history ?
There's really no one out there worth investing in as far as possible free agents. As far as trading players. Most of the team is very old or players that they need for the future. They simply don't have a lot of quality trade options at this point nor would they want to trade it and dig themselves into a big hole.
