Yankees - where's Sheffield ?

Six or seven months. She took a nap on my lap through the middle innings.

Advice? Be prepared not to see a lot of the game, though this will vary by specific kid or kids involved. And bring munny. I once hosted a nephew who ate only half a hotdog and drank one coke. Other youngsters can pack away a snack per inning.

Bring a camera, capture some memories. Pack what you really, really need -- stay as light as possible. Scope out the nearest restrooms (should be plenty of them).

For day games, remember sunscreen and water (most parks will let you bring in plastic, sealed bottles). To show you really know what you're doing, freeze the bottles overnight so they're really cold, and drink the meltwater as needed. I recommend Aquafina because the large mouth bottle is easier to refill at a fountain.

If you want to watch batting practice and maybe try for autographs, get there early -- but if the child is sufficiently young that his/her window of good behavior only lasts so long, recognize that pre-game time spent will cut down on how long you may be able to stay at the game.

If anyone collects baseball cards i need help!?

3. When my favorite player was batting, the people next to me were talking. I told them "Be quiet!" (or shut up, don't remember).

Little kids will get very antsy during a game, so I hope you don't plan on sitting down and watching and fully enjoying the game

Who is your favorite baseball team?

I was 13.

How do you slide on the inside of the base?

23 years ago, I took my 6 yr old son and my 9 year old half brother to a Yankee game. Both kids were in little league and fully understood the concept of baseball... I created a monster because now BOTH are EXTREMELY AVID Yankee fans and we ALL go to a game at least two or three times a year... it is SO much fun going with those guys and their wife (my brother) and girlfriend (my son)...We raise a LOT of hell together at the games and just have a ton of fun. AND, when I'm long gone, both my brother and my son will always have those memories of all those games that we shared. oh and by the way---at 6, my son had a BALL at the games. it's quite a bonding experience to be sitting in the stands at a stadium cheering TOGETHER for your team...and making up cute little things to shout to those less fortunate fans of the other team who happen to be sitting nearest to us.

What's more fun, watching the Red Sox/Yankee beat eachother, or the AL Central Race?

9 it's safe don't worry. Just always keep an eye on them or hold their hands

Who Pitches Faster??

I have no kids, but I was 14 when I attended my first MLB game. Buy them some little souvenir (nothing big, everything's expensive!!!). Depending on their age, they may get bored/restless during the game. If they are smaller kids, have something like a coloring book there to occupy them.

Good luck and enjoy the game!!!! :)

What is the best way to teach 9 and 10 year old girls to pitch fast pitch?

My son was 10 months old and it was a Mariners and Yankee game, and i learned my lesson. My son was given a ball that was caught on a foul by a yankees staff, i wanst able to see the game cuzz he kept throwing the ball and hitting ppls. So i had to leave before the game was over cus he wouldnt stay still. So next time he went was when he turned 10 years old!
