What are the little league rules regarding practices?
Question:Can a coach schedule more pracitces than the practices already scheduled by the league? If yes, then can the coach schedule practice at their house or does it have to be a designated area by the league?

You must follow the bylaws of your baseball association. Playing in the designated parks is to your advantage due to insurance purposes, if a child is hurt else where the medical bills will not be covered. Coaches should and must follow the guide lines, they were enacted for a purpose.(Baseball association secretary 5 yrs.) When our coaches go against the by-laws they are banned from coaching a home game, if the act is of a worse nature it is voted upon and a suspension can be handed down. If you are a trouble maker coach in one sport, it is carried over into another sport, thus you cannot coach. Remember it is for the kids to have FUN, its not the win. Some coaches lose perspective if this is recreational, and not a travel team.

Rules shmules.Professional sports have a ton of rules regarding off-season practice, and they all have the same basis... you can call it a non-required workout.
Talk to the Parents. Let them know that you'd like to schedule additional, voluntary practice to give you some additional time to teach the kids the game of baseball.
If the parents are too busy, or don't like the idea, they've got the option to say no, because it's 'voluntary'.
Most parents are going to love the fact that you're willing to do this.
