The DeMarini website seems to give a good overview of each. Take a look and compare:DeMarini - Voodoo - 11.5: http://www.demarini.com/demarini/product...
Demarini - Vexxum - 13.5: http://www.demarini.com/demarini/product...
OLD man Clemens to the yankees, what do u think?
Voodoo: Stiffer handle (but still a flexable handle), less end loaded (but still more end loaded than TPX or Easton bats)Vexxum: more flex in handle and very end loaded
Biggest problem is these bats will feel heaver than their weight. So to get maximum bat speed, you have to swing a lighter bat than with other manufacturers. So you'll have less mass at the same swing speed, and not as much over all pop.
IMHO, the only bat Demarini makes that is worth anything is the new CF3. And it might just be the best bat on the market now. Anything else demarini makes (that isn't a fastpitch or slowpitch bat) is junk. Stick with TPX or Easton for baseball, and the aforementioned CF3.
I own a baseball equipment store, and I've never sold anyone their 2nd demarini bat.
