Will jeff weaver be cut by seattle? his current record is 0-4 with era of 14.34!?

Question:and is his brother another flash in the pan? jared weaver is already injury prone in only his second year!

Answers:

What pitcher won 3 consecutive triple crowns?

Weaver is a loser, and always has been.

What Is...?

of course he sucks.

I'm looking for a team to root for in the AL. Anything to propose?

Yes, he stinks. He stunk when he played for the Yankees', vice versa the Cardinals'.

Why is Barry Bonds allowed to play anymore. He is more of a joke than O.J. Simpson.?

Free Agency is always funny you really never know what you are going to get out of a guy. If Jeff were smart he would have stayed in St. Louis but he got greedy and went to Seattle where he might get release and be the typical Jeff Weaver that bounces from place to place and isn't really contributing to any team success but only failure. Don't worry Sidney Ponson was doing the same before Jeff came back and show most fans that he is really the one that can't pitch.

Which is the best?

Jeff Weaver can't pitch in the AL. Period. Jered will shake off the injury bug and be pretty good though. He has some nasty pitches, just needs to get his location back & he's fine. He has way better stuff than Jeff in my opinion.

Yankees!?!?!?

The Mariners aren't allowed to cut Weaver until the Twins cut Sidney Ponson. Hands down the worst 2 pitchers in the A.L.

Should Mariano Rivera live the Yankees?

What I cant understand is how effective and consistent he was with the Dodgers in '04 and '05. I figured after the success he had in the WS that he would go back to being that type of pitcher again. The seasons still young, and I'll keep hoping that he can settle down and pitch like he did for the Dodgers, but I cant figure out the huge swings in effectiveness hes shown: effective with the Tigers, implodes in NY; effective with the Dodgers, implodes, then pitches well in the WS; implodes in Seattle. Theres got to be an answer in there somewhere.

Is Omar Vizquel a hall of famer?

Seattle gambled on signing Weaver and now it looks like the gamble has failed. The Mariners probably will not be quick to cut him however, because they have a lot invested in him and they will give him as many chances as possible. Perhaps they will move him to long relief or just sit him for a while and hope he snaps out of it. Jared Weaver on the other hand, is young and as you say, seems injury prone. He should be brought along very slowly so he can develop properly and not rushed back if he isn't 100%.

What should the new Oakland A's name be?

he will improve
but you have to know that he is the perennial
4TH starter
