Barry Bonds - ranked player of the decade in the 1990s to date has 7 MVPs, the only 400-400 player (HR/SB) , and now 500-500
Willie Mays - probably the best all around player to ever live...and he made the famous catch
Sammy Sosa - (don't think he should be here but...) only player to hit 60+HR 3 different times
Joe DiMaggio - still holds the hit streak record of 55 games
Pete Rose - the great hustle kid, holds the career record for hits 4256
Rickey Henderson - the best leadoff hitter of all time, holds career SB record 1406 and runs record 2295, he also has the most lead off homers all time

Dennis Eckersley - was already a dominant starter only to become one of the most dominant closer, won AL Cy Young, MVP and Rolaids Relief awards all in 1992
Phil Niekro - holds the record for innings pitched in the 20th century 5404.1
