Should Mariano Rivera live the Yankees?

Question:He is getting worse by the year.

Answers:

About Bonds.?

Wow, you are a quick one to rip on him, must be a Yankee fan for such a short fuse. Take a look at his stats over the past few years, and you will see complete stability. Yeah, he's had a rough start, but don't forget about 2005 when he got shelled by Boston twice to start the year. He ended up with a 1.80 ERA. C'mon! He has had the following ERA's over the past 4 years (2003 - 06): 1.66, 1.94, 1.38, 1.80. If you think he's falling apart, it makes me wish you were in my fantasy league and you had him to give to me...

For the RedSox Nation. Are u guys ready to kick the Yankees asses!?

i know! that makes me happy, cuz i like the red sox!

How many balls does a baseball game have?

i like the red sox too, and i'd like him to stay. but if he needs to go anywhere, it's to the gold course. he needs to retire, he isn't good anymore.

Intentional Walk...?

Stay with the Yankees. He'll get better. Dont worry bout it. Hes is getting worse and worse, but hes also getting older and older. Mo should be fine.

What is the minimum number of pitches a pitcher can through and still get a complete game no hitter?

I assume you mean LEAVE the Yankees. As a Sox fan, I say no, because we have his number now. As a fan of baseball, I also say no. He has done a lot for NY and has every right to be wearing that uniform with as much pride as anyone can have wearing the uniform of such a horrible organiztion (red sox editorial on that last comment). But I hate how these teams will cut a player just because he is getting older. I like what the Angels did. They signed Percival to a minor league contract so he can retire as an Angel. I think it would have been great if NY and Bernie Williams could have come to some sort of a similar agreement.

NY will deal with Rivera how they see fit, probably giving him the role of set up man or something if they choose to keep him. And Rivera will do what he feel is best, stay with the team he loves in a lesser role as his talents diminish, or go to a lesser team to resume his career as a closer. But nobody is going to make much of a decision based off of loyalty, that much is pretty much guarenteed these days in this so called sport. Everybody approaches the sport as a business now. So based off of that knowledge, I don't think Rivera will be a Yankee for much longer.

Wilbur wood vs. Tim Wakefield- better knuckleballer?

rivera should get traded, he should get traded to the dodgers for brett tomko

Rare baseball event?

no

Philip hughes?

LOL wow.

Well lets see last season he had the best of his career as far as overall stats.

And so this year he has had a few bad outings and you think the yankees should dtich him. He is still the best closer in bbal and have 2 or 3 more good years left in him
