Barry Bonds basic information?
Question:I am against Barry Bonds's getting into the hall of fame over Hank Aaron. I would like to know all about the situation. This will require a long answer (for a project). What are his growth differences between the normal age when a man stops growing and now. What are quotes of him denying his steriod use. Explain HGH (human growth hormones).
Answers:
When do you think the next World Baseball Classic is going to be on?
1. Bonds is being accused of alleged steroid use. The whole BALCO case opened a can of worms where Bonds became the centerpiece.2. Bonds trainer said he gave Bonds "cream and clear" which had steroids in the product.
3. Bonds said if he did take steroids he unknowingly took them. He did say he took the "cream and clear".
4. According to Bud Selig, Bonds has never failed any substance abuse tests.
5. HGH was a whole separate issue of Bonds and it regarded Jason Grimsley of the Arizona Diamondbacks admitting to using HGH and other pitchers he accused.
6. According to some sources his hat size went from 7 1/2 to 8 or 8 1/4 somewhere around there.
7. Some books have shown pictures of Bonds "before and after" shots -- the before shot shows him far away with a hat on, the after shots shows a close up of his head with no hat on.
8. Many other players have tested positive for steroids yet fingers still go back to Bonds -- Rafael Palmiero, Alex Sanchez, Juan Rincon.
9. Bonds would probably not be under this heat if he wasn't close to the record.
10. Steroids have been around since 1920s (I believe 1922), who's to say no one else back then did them either.
Just some points to consider, I did a paper on steroids in baseball when I was in college so some of the information might help you.
Hank Aaron is already in the hall. Barry Bonds is the only player ever to have 500 hrs and 500 sb. He is the greatest player ever, and hes never taken steroids.
Will the giants lose at least 100 games?
Spartan, you ignorant sluht. Bonds has never denied using steriods, only knowingly using them. He admitted to using "cream and clear'' which the BALCO gods acknowledge at least one of which was a steriod compound.I don't have a quote of Bonds' denying steriod use. I have read of the aforementioned denial of his re knowingly using. It cracks me up, the clowns who say he has denied using them, when he has only denied knowingly using them (suspect denial at best, in my opinion).
As to Bonds maybe getting in the HOF someday, well, he was a pretty fair country player before he puffed up. He'd won at least a couple of MVPs while still with Pittsburgh, if I am not mistaken. His eventual enshrinement, well, let's see how this whole issue plays out over the next five years or more. Notice that McGwire didn't fare very well in his first year of HOF eligibility, which suits my preferences fine.
The effects of HGH include increased muscle mass (with workouts), an increased rate of increase and increased stamina (which facilitates longer and more-frequent workouts).
Dorsal zits, shrunken testicles, and increased aggressiveness (violence) are some of the notorious side effects. In my opinion, the cream was Clearasil, and Bonds must be about the least ballsy player in either league. I wouldn't be surprised if he has the lockerroom nickname of "Raisinsac."
