any bat the kid picks out. there isn't a huge tee ball bat selection out there and at that age, a bat isn't going to improve the kids game too much. all tee ball bats are pretty much the same weight and lengths. the thing that will help him is a good natural swinging motion that he can carry on later in his playing life.
