How about them brewers?

Question:there record is 23-10, do you think they are for real, many people have been waiting for a season like this

Answers:

How do i get to the Carolina Mudcats stadium in Zebulon, NC?

I love reading the answers from people who aren't brewers fans, because I love seeing the phrase "until someone gets hurt" when asked if the brewers are for real. This will not bother the brewers this year, I guarantee it! They have plenty of depth at the outfield position with Bill Hall, Geoff Jenkins, Kevin Mench, Gabe Gross, Corey Hart, and Tony Gwinn Jr, all in the majors (they also have, i think his name is Lance Nyx, in the minors if they really need an outfielder). The starting pitching rotation can be recovered if someone goes out because they have carlos villanueva from the bullpen who is actually a starter and who did a great job starting at the end of the year last year. They also 2 fully developed pitchers in the minors who are just waiting for the call. If anyone in the infield gets injured, they will bring up their all-star-to-be 3rd baseman Ryan Braun who is waiting patiently for the call, and they will shufle Craig Counsell and Tony Graffanino around to the injured spot. If anyone in the Bullpen gets injured, up comes Jose Capellan, who is ready for the majors (he played in the bigs a little last year).

Now that you all know this, can you really believe that the brewers would even be slightly iriitated by injury this year? I am a hardcore brewers fan, and Injury is the last thing on my mind.

Why don't the fans exercise power by boycotting games if unhappy with owners?

they will be good until Ben Sheets blows out his elbow. This may be for about one more month, so enjoy it now. you are talking about the Brewers after all. Sorry Buddy. Although their division is weak this year, I think their upside is a first round loss in the playoffs. Maybe they win one playoff game??

Redsox fans.?

It's pretty impressive, lets see if their pitching can hold up. I have to say GO BIG BLUE. LA BABY.

Which MLB pitcher had the best "light's out" season?

They are off to a great hot start. Congrats to you Brewer fans. It's been a long time coming.

What rivals would u rather see in the World Series...Dodgers/Angels, Yanks/Mets, Cubs/White Sox or Giants/A's?

The Brewers have a good shot at running away with the NL central. You could see this developing over the past 3 seasons. The three major reasons why the Brewers could absolutely run away with their division are the great trades they've make since '03, a wealth of young talent, and the decline of their division foes.
The first major turn of the tide for Milwaukee was the trade that sent Richie Sexton to Arizona for 4 players after the 2003 season. The players acquired held the infield spots warm while Bill Hall, JJ Hardy, Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder had time to develop in the minors.
Their young starting pitching staff is really coming around as well. Chris Capuano is breaking out this year, Ben Sheets is as good as anyone in the NL when he's healthy, and they acquired Jeff Suppan, an reliable innings-eater from a division foe to provide stability to a young rotation.
They also added a starting outfielder (Kevin Mench) and a strong closer(Fransisco Cordero) for Carlos Lee at the all-star break last season through trade. Lee was a great player to lose, but they couldn't afford to sign him anyway, so they got great value for someone they would have lost regardless.
The Central Division will most likely end up closer then it has been so far, but with the St. Louis Cardinals losing 4/5 of their starting rotation from last year, and the Houston Astros losing Pettitte and Clemens, the NL Central standings are no fluke. The Milwaukee Brewers could easily win the division.

Which mlb players is in your fantasy?

staying healthy is the key. the rotation especially. this next series against the mets will be a good test from having beat up our crappy central div. im getting upset at the fairweather fans though. where were you the last 10 years? i been losing with them for 28 years and now my boss who knows nothing about baseball is wearing a brew hat. everyday i restrain myself from knocking it off his head and punching him in the mouf. crew 4 life till i die.
