What worst thing about espn and fox baseball telecasts?
Question:I hate all their announcers are bias to something(east coast bias)
Answers:
2. Joe Morgan when he's out of his tiny comfort zone (hitting or middle-infield defense)
3. Fox's laser-blast sound effects
4. Fox's shot selection
5. Any announcer's inability to let the game tell itself -- there's never a microsecond of open air not polluted with commentary no matter how pointless, deranged, or simply wrong.
What's the best book about sabermetrics?
The fact that every game is Yankees or Red Sox.Are yankees getting it together? how can they improve pitching?
The worst is Joe Morgan. Being a Cubs fan, I'm offended when he says that Ryne Sandberg didn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. He is just jealous that Ryno was better than he was. He has to realize that there are players that are better than he was and that today's players can play the game just as well.Should any of these players be voted into the hall of fame?
Totally agree that the announcers on both ESPN and FOX are really biased. They bring up the worst of any other team! Give me some new announcers or don't broadcast the games at all! Same with the Basketball on ESPN sometimes, totally biased!1955 bowman mickey mantle card has the wrong birthdate on the back,?
ill say the announcers arent emotional enough and dont know the proper way to react when someone makes a great play or when someone hits a game winning HR.Who is the best Hitter of all Time Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, Pete Rose?
It's not that their biased, but it's that their analysis is so terrible it isn't even funny.Do you still think Barry Bonds is a jerk??
when the redsox play the yankees they all always talk up the yankees and all their players. i also hate it when they cut to another game when your team is in a key situation. they suckWhat section of Shea stadium is closes to the visitors dugout?
Joe. Morgan.Joe Morgan and Tim McCarver!! Both KNOW all there is about everything!! They second guess the managers and the players, and talk incessantly. I want to see and hear the game, NOT listen to two retired ball players who are overwhelmed with their self-importance.
Chow!!
Buerhle only has a bruise? White Sox get their 1st win?
Joe Morgan. Actually, none of the announcers know what they're talking about, but ol' Joe don't know Jack. I remember a few years ago there was a Cubs/Cardinals game on FOX and Sammy Sosa had struck out and the fans made an "ooooo" sound. The announcer said "I can't believe that Sosa is getting booed in Chicago." Moises Alou was coming up to bat after Sosa, and it was custom to chant "Alooooooooou." These guys have no idea what the fans think or the little quirks are at specific ballparks. They talk like they're the big experts and never go back and say that they were wrong. Not only are they biased, most of them are ignorant, often erroneous factually, and full of themselves. ESPN does nothing but sports (except for poker), so they are a little better. FOX takes suckitude to a level I never even knew existed when they got the World Series telecasts. They stink worse than a cadaver fart, especially that God-awful Joe Buck. He should be called Joe Suck.
oooh, you got me started. I live in the NY Metro area. First of all, SNY/CW (home channels) is for Mets games, YES/UPN (home channels) is for Yankees games. Period. Why when the Yankees are being broadcast nationally on ESPN and on a home channel, but i see a black screen on ESPN. Why don't they put on another game, one i could watch!! and Fox is the same. the 'national' networks should show 'out-of-market' games, which is why the home teams have their own home channels.
Who else thinks the Red Sox get rid of too many good players.?
