Do you think Gary Sheffield has Hall-Of- Fame credentials?

Question:

Answers:

What is the MLB record for the most stolen bases?

i don't think, i know.
coming into this season over 450 homers. over 1500 rbis, nearly 1500 runs, nearly 2400 hits and a near .300 avg. played multiple positions and he's won a championship. by the time he retires he'll have hit 500 homers, come damn close to 3000 hits and 2000 rbis. and still hold close to a .300 average. he may not make the first ballot, but he'll be in within five years of eligibility.

How many hits did carl yaztrimski have in his career?

He might,I would say he would defiantly because he is a great baseball player but taking steroids might damage his reputation.

Who is the biggest disappointment in baseball history?

DEFIANTLY

Will A-Rod take Matsuzaka deep over the "Monster" on Sunday?

Okay, folks, if you are sure he's going to get in the Hall of Fame, at least spell it right:

DEFINITELY.

[and that is my answer, by the way]

With baseball starting again I want to know which team people think are gonna win it all,so who is your pick?

i dont think so

How do they pick the all-star game location in baseball??

No way. The guy took steroids.

Google.com?

Sheffield is one of the few players I cannot nail down an opinion on. His stats suggest -- not proclaim, but suggest -- he's on the way toward Cooperstown. But looked at almost any other, non-stat way, and there is almost nothing about his career that says "this is a Hall of Famer". And I just have this sense of imminent doom regarding him, that somehow he'll mess up the end of his career (whenever it is), fail to hit 500 homers, get nuked by steroid revelations, maybe the writers have long memories about allegations that he semi-tanked plays with Milwaukee... I dunno. Sheffield's Hall candidacy (still in progress, of course) always strikes me as half-baked. There's SOMETHING missing, and I'm not sure what it is.

Given a vote, I'd have to err in favor of history and not check off his name.

What's happening to the Twins!?!?

He does, but now-a-days, there are just way too many players that are hitting that many homeruns, or driving in thatmany rbi's. He doesn't have anything to wow the hall of fame committee, he has above average numbers, but not excellent numbers, because there are simply too many players that are goin to reach similar credentials, But, i hope that he does get in, he is one hell of a plyer, he had some nice home-runs and clutch hits with the yankees.

Who should win MVP for baseball? exept A-Rod?

Yes, but juicing has killed his HOF chances. As well it should. For him or anyone else on that crap.

Yanks vs Red sox?

Not yet. He needs to have one more big year or at least a couple of solid seasons. 500 home runs is no longer automatic because of the steroids era. Another ring would help.
