Who do you think is the best San Fransisco Giant?

As long as it's a fastball. Your fastball should always have movement.

There is no particular age at which you can safely begin to throw braking balls. There is a physical maturity guideline, but only your doctor can tell if you've reached it or not, and that's only by reading x-rays of your pitching arm. Throwing breaking balls before that risks permanent damage to your arm.

Rain Shortened baseball?

I would hold off a little more on the curveball until you close to having to pitch at the Varsity level.

For now it would be safe to throw slight variables like a cut fastball. Just use slightly different grips on your fastball to varry the speed and the look. This will confuse hitters just as much as actual breaking pitches for now.

I told you we should have traded A-Rod?

I would start learning now but be careful how much you throw it because it can lead to elbow and shoulder problems.
I would learn a good 12-6 curveball. Kids your age have a tough time hitting them.
Also, a slider is a good breaking pitch with velocity. However, it does put a lot of force on your arm and is quite dangerous.
I would go with a curveball for now.
Practice it a lot before you throw it in a game because nothing's better for a hitter than a hanging breaking ball.
Good luck.

If i get XM and I want to listen to the Yankees will I get the Yankees announcers or some other announcers?

I play baseball and won a city championship when i was 12, state championship when i was 14, and placed second in nationals when i was 14, and i throw 79 mph fastball on a high school mound at the age of 15, and i started throwing curveballs, splitters, and sliders when i turned 14. Yes you should learn to throw a curveball because hitters will be baffeld and its a great pitch if you master it but too many in one game will kill your arm! Trust me i know what it takes to be a dominate pitcher since i got a scholarship as a freshmen in high school to go to college.

Sox fans??????

ya, you should start practicing the curve and splitter now so you will have it masterd by the time you are on the varsity level. they are really dominat pitches as well

If you feel even the slightest discomfort, stop throwing it, and see if you can develop a different pitch.

Who has the most homeruns in any USA league including old Negro League so don't say it's HANK AARON?

I'll give you the goods because you're a Yankee fan too.

At your age, you really don't need to worry about breaking balls. If you want to start working on a curveball, it won't hurt, but get some coaching with it to make sure you're not doing it wrong and risking injury.

Throwing the fastball at your age is best though. It's going to build your arm strength and durability. Concentrate on location and mechanics for now, get that down. When you're 16, you can really start working on throwing the curveball, mixing it in and using it.

Also... another great way to build arm strength is to do a lot of long tossing. Just playing catch with somebody from about 120-150 feet. Old time ballplayers used to do that a TON, and they were durable and strong from it. It's very good for your arm.

How to Apply Pine Tar To Helmet?

NO, do not start throwing that junk until junior or senior year of high school. depending on how good you actually are. if you have a future in baseball wait. if you are just playing as a kid and don't care about your arm, throw that curve...
