Division realignment in MLB Baseball?

As you get older and play at different levels the players are different. Pitchers are different and obviously hitting is going to be different, it seems you are just having a tough time adjusting. When you drop your elbow when you swing that means you are trying to get the ball in the air and trying to swing for the fences. As someone stated above spend some time in the batting cages. One thing I notice when I teach people baseball is they let the bat swing them -- this is usually a case of the bat is 1. too heavy, or 2. they are lunging at the ball. Dropping your elbow is more of an example of lunging at the ball. Stay back, let the pitch come to you then swing down at the ball. This will help you drive. When you uppercut, it does something I like to call a loopy swing. This leaves holes in your swing, especially pitches up in the zone and even down and in. Here are some suggestions:
1. as stated above by others spend time in the cages
2. use a lighter bat in BP to work on your bat speed and leveling your swing
3. keep your elbow up and swing down, this will give you a more level swing
4. ask some friends to help throw live BP to you at a park
5. one thing I have used to help me and even a couple of friends swing is 2 mirrors...one in front of you where the pitcher would be and one where the other side of the plate would be -- practice swinging in slow motion and watch what you are doing, if you notice you are leaning on your front foot then you know you are lunging and not waiting for the ball to get to you...also with your elbow you can catch it and do what you can to rectify it.

Just keep practicing, eventually your determination and will to succeed will help you get your swing back. You will be back to form soon. Good Luck!

Who had the best record in MLB history, and what was it?

Keep your eye on the ball all the way to the bat....try to watch the bat hit the ball.don't let your head go with your shoulder as you swing.keep your neck muscles loose. Maybe try going to a driving range and hit a couple of buckets of golf balls, the mechanics are different, but you can't hit a golfball if you don't watch it all thru the swing, this will help you keep your eye on the baseball.

When a major league baseball player is out of options and is traded to another team. Is that player still out?

well you could go to the batting cages and practice there a little more often. you could also hire like your own personal hitting coach. Keep your elbows up, knuckles even, hands about at shoulder height, and watch it as soon as it's thrown until it hits the catchers mitt, even if you hit the ball. maybe try a new warm-up when your on deck. Get those muscles loose and get ready to swing when your up at the plate
