Being from Cleveland, of course my favorite team is the Indians. So far this season they look good. The team I hate the most is the NY Yankees.During the seasons when the Indians have no hope for a playoff run I root for the Boston Red Sox, because I know how well they can spoil it for the Yankees. Johnny Damon is a punk. But I hate seeing Manny Ramerez kicking *** for the Red Sox. Him and Albert Bell are two of the best hitters the Indians have had in the last 20 years. Jim Thome was good too, so was David Justice. But the Indians managed to lose all their great hitters when Larry Dolan bought the team.

I'm with the guy above me in my love for the Royals even though they are always terrible. Can't help where you gre up I guess. I bleed Dodger blue, but oddly enough, the Giants are only my second-least favorite team. I fully and completely dislike the Yankees. My favorite team is the Atlanta Braves. I started liking them when they picked up Dale Murphy, and even though they were terrible I could watch them play 100 times a year on cable. since we don't have a ML team in my city that was awesome. You can imagine that the 90's were a pretty good time for me.
I only "hate" one team, and that is the Yankees. I like some of their players, I think Torre is a class act, but I hate the team and the organization. My second favorite team after the Braves is whoever is playing the Yankees.

I am a Devil Rays fan, and I think I have more reason to hate the Yankees than even Red Sox fans. I live in Tampa, and as I pass a Sports FanAttic store in a mall I see a Delmon Young jersey in the middle of the window. Nothing wrong with that right? Well, everything else in the window, surrounding the jersey, was about 4 Yankees jerseys, and other Yankee crap. The problem is all of the New York transplants that live here, George Steinbrenner lives here, and the Yankees train here.
