Has Barry Bonds publicly admitted to taking steroids or performance-enhancing drugs?
I think they will make the playoffs but be knocked out early by team with playoff experience like St. Louis or The Mets.Did the Indians get hosed by the weather tonight? Details inside?
Well, personally, I hope you are wrong.Yes
Has there ever been a player in MLB history who had 4 or 5 homeruns in a game?
Yes, that is my thought.Who is the best baseball player to ever play the game?
i agree.Well it very well could be possible as it's still pretty early in the season. I mean we're only in the month of May.
Is Bob Gibson the greatest pitcher ever?
not with the weak competition in that division. Their pitching should carry them far enough.. Book it,Do you think this is overpaid?
I think they will make the playoffs...the have a great rotation and 1,2 setup man and closer. as long as they get runs :)I play base ball but i stink, any pointers?
brewers are gonna choke!!Go CUBBIES GO
What happened at red sox game today that benches cleared in the 8th innning?
They'll make the playoffs with the lead they have and the sad division they're in. The young arms in the rotation and in the pen will carry them through. Great farm system paying dividends this year!I think they'll make the playoffs because I believe they are the most solid team in the Central. However, They seem to have a youngster's swagger which is not very becoming, they need to get over themselves they just played the class of the NL East the Mets and got stomped and now are getting beaten by the Phillies as well.
Why don't fans support the braves or marlins?
I believe they will. I think they will fall apart after the All Star Break and drop down in the standings. The Cubs are going to continue to suck with a lack of good pitching. The Cardinals will continue to struggle until Pujols can turn it up and the starting pitching comes alive. The Pirates, well, they are the Pirates so that's all I have to say about that. The Reds still need more steady pitching as well. I think the Astros have the best chance to compete with the Brewers. Carlos Lee has been an outstanding addition(thank you Brewers) to the team and the recent call-up Hunter Pence is marvelous so far. If the pitching can stay decent and if Jennings can come off the DL, things could be looking up for them. For baseball players: what is a invention that you could use to make baseball easier?
The Brewers as a name are inexperienced in the playoffs, but you forget players on the team have 5 WS rings and a few more appearances on top of that. Suppan, Counsell, Estrada, Wise, Yost has been there, anyone else I'm missing? You can bet those guys will help Fielder, Hardy, Weeks, Hall and everyone else with what to expect, how to handle it, etc. Secondly, how do you figure they got stomped by the Mets? Are you retarded? Sure they lost the series 2-1, but the runs were dead even at 17 a piece. So you watched on Sunday when they lost 9-1, what about Saturday when they "waxed them all over the field" 12-3? That quote came from David Wright by the way. Turnbow and Cordero weren't going to stay perfect all year, to think otherwise is ridiculous. Just so happened against the Phillies last two nights, hats off to them for taking advantage of pitching mistakes. Brewers keep a .500 record on the road, they're in. Cubs can forget about it basically because of what Ryan Howard said last night, Chemistry is the most important part of winning, talent can't make up for what a team doesn't have in chemistry. Will Major League Baseball eventually use computers to call balls and strikes?
i think that they will make the playoffs as weak as that division is. No one else seems to give the Brewers a run for their money. They are a young, solid, good hitting team and their pitching has been pretty good so far this year. they lead the majors in saves with 16. 4th in WHIP and 5th in ERA. and in hitting they lead the majors in SLG pct. with a .454 and 2nd in OPS .790. their doing really well and could really take that division with ease. no one and i mean no one in their division is giving them any challenge.Really it doesn't matter what we think. While the Brewers may have the lead now, who knows, an injury here, a slump there and they could fall back. Heck if the Astros, Cubs, or Cards pulled it together the Brew Crew could be in trouble. While people constantly rag the NL Central for being the weakest division, I think it's one of the stronger ones, it's just that the teams tear each other up during the season. Remember the NLC has sent teams to the WS three years in a row.
So to sum it up the Brew Crew may make it, they may not, it's all up to chance.
No, they play too many games against their division foes, who they have stomped all year to this point. They'll go out before the deadline and get another arm in the bullpen if Turnbow can't turn it around as the set-up man. This east-coast road trip is just a bump in the road, slumps are a natural part of the game when the season is 162 games long.
Who has the most home runs in a week in MLB?
No, I do not. They have a good pitching staff and a solid lineup, so I think they are for real and will win their division and make the playoffs.Chow!!
