Will the yanks turn it around?

How do you calculate baseball era?
What we've learned from the yankees is that lots of money does not equal great players. True some of them are good. Very good in fact. But when an entire team is leaning on one or two players then I don't see how they can jet forward to win the world series or even a pennant. Roger Clemens is way past his prime. Will he be an asset? I don't think so. He might even be a liability. The fact is that the yankees have only one really good player. Alex Rodriguez(sp) is the only player I can see bringing them to a playoff situation. Jeter? Overplayed and not that good. Giambi? About to die from steroid abuse. Damon? Wasn't that great when Boston had him and dumb as a freaking post. And Torry will leave the yankees at the end of this year. The yankees have lost their edge.Did anyone else just see the fan at the Sox game flip the bird on Fox?
Yesbut they will not reach de WS
What/who made the Braves of the 90s so dominant?
It's only a matter of time. The lineup is simply too good, and though the rotation is in shambles at the moment, it'll turn around. Wang will throw well, Pettitte has been strong, and if Clemens is as good as advertised (big IF to me) then they'll be ok. The bullpen on the other hand... that might be a yearly adventure.Good enough to catch the sox? Maybe. If the Sox get some injuries at the same time the Yankees get hot, then it's easily plausible.
How do you figure out a baseball players era?
Yes, they are only 16-18. I remember last year all the sports guys were saying the yankees wouldn't make the postseason and they did. Jeter, Arod and Clemens wont let them miss the playoffsWhich former Kane County Cougar played with both the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox?
no the just plain old stink(as usual) im a red sox fanCan anybody give me the names of all the yankees players that have restaraunts?
yes...their starting pitching will be boosted by the addition of clemens, wang will improve by season's end, and if pettitte and mussina continue to throw well then they could actually have a formidable rotation...their bullpen has been struggling of late after a very good start, but they will get some help via a trade deadline deal which will make them a little better...and their lineup is still the best in baseballi expect them to win the al east and make the playoffs...as for the world series which george steinbrenner covets so badly, that may be out of reach considering the age of many key members of their pitching staff
Whats up with the sox bullpen not showin up this series against the cubs?
no, they have no pitching periodWhat baseball player has been hit by 287 pitches in the major leagues ?
look. they are having to rely on clemens to save them. yes he's good, but he's so old he'd never make it through a whole season, which is why he comes in during june. do the yankees seriously think this guy will take them to the top again? even if he does win most games, he's one guy in a five-pitcher rotation. it'll take a miracle for the yanks to catch up.of course ! they are after all Da Yanks !!!
What going on with The Milwaukee Brewers?!!??
Yea and you know it too!! They are the Yankees so they definitley will. We have a strong lineup but our pitching just hasnt been there. Now that Clemens is back in business and Pettitte has been strong and a few other guys have been too, i think we might have a chance. I think that the Red Sox will start losing and our pitching will improve and we will be the team on top again..where we belong. GO YANKEES!! =)What is the boston red sox record before all star break in past years?
definitly not.you can't dig yourself into a hole that deep and be able to climb back out. Especially when you have a bunch of girls playing for them... haha.. Derek... Alex...
Zack Greinke vs. Daisuke Matsuzaka great pitching duel?
