i think soName 3 players you would like to see get kicked out of mlb?
LMAO. Yes, the Mets are building a New Stadium, CITI FIELD. The scaffolding is up and everything. If you watch them play at home in Left Field behind Moises Alou you can see the stadium going up. This stadium is going to be absolutely beautiful too. It is going to have the same brick look as Ebbets Field did, and have a Jackie Robinson Rotunda as you enter the field. The dimensions will be LF - 335FT LC - 379FT CF - 408FT RC - 383FT RF - 330Ft. If you go to the Mets website you can also see what the stadium will look like in pictures and video. P.S. Yankee Stadium will be sadly torn down too to build a new park. Just think, "The House That Ruth Built" being torn down for a parking lot. This is a true shame. I am hoping NYC makes it a Historical Landmark and Museum before they do. Knowing Steinbrener though, he would see it more fit for charging $15 for fans to park in.At Wrigley Field, what does the banner that says, "ACO 13,396" mean?
yeah shea stadium sucks. its going to be called citi field named for a bank. think about it shea and dodger stadium were built the same year but which would you rather go to.Why did Yankee fans give A-Rod a curtain call after a meaningless HR and just an OK game?
i don't know about "making" one. they're building a new one.Citi Field is on tap to open sometime in 2009 - replacing the awful-looking Shea Stadium. It's one of the last "cookie-cutter-era" stadiums to meet the wrecking ball. Minneapolis' Metrodome thankfully will follow suit in 2010 when the Twins open their new ballpark. MLB will have a totally new look by 2010 - as most of the teams will have relatively new parks. Wrigley and Fenway of course will be the exceptions.
Which team was better the oakland a's in the early 70's or the early 90's team?
