Answers:
October 2 1983...Carl Yastrzemski's last game at Fenway Park..After an illustrious career spent entirely with the Red Sox, Yaz was retiring and I had the fortunate experience of being at his last game...
He played left field for the last time and it was so cool to see him running out there like he had done thousands of times before..He got a hit in the game and the Sox won too which made it extra special..
At the end of the game, he ran all the way around the field waving and slapping hands with the people close enough..
It was so fantastic and I will never forget it..I cried as he ran by and honestly, there were not too many dry eyes in the stands..
I still have the ticket stub and the program from that day as well as the many newspaper clippings covering his playing days and retirement..

I stayed when the Indians were losing by 12 in the 7th inning to the Mariners. Before I knew it, the Tribe came back and won it in the 11th tying the biggest comeback in major league history. I remember seeing Kenny Lofton score the winning run and then just hugging anyone near me. I will never forget that night.30 post season games pitched never took the loss?
I've been to 3 (Exhibition game between Cardinals and Padres, Mariners vs. Blue Jays, Orioles vs. Rangers)My most memorable would be seeing this kid get hit in the face by Carlos Delgado's (Then on the Jays) screaming line drive foul ball, and him bleeding all over the place. At that same game I also got to go to one of the boxes and take a picture with the Mariner Moose.

Actually I have two. Both from many years ago.(The Braves were still in Milwaukee.)
Early sixties. My wife was not a big baseball fan, but did like Hank Aaron. We finally talked her into going to a home game, and she hoped she would see Hank hit one. Murphey's law took over. She had to go to the john, and while she was under the bleachers, you guessed it, Hank hit one.
The second involves my father in law, also not a big baseball fan. He was on vacation and had my two younger brothers in law with him for a visit. I talked him into taking in a Brave game. They were playing the Giants. I really bragged on Willie Mays. Long story short, Mays was struck out four times by Warren Spahn. On the trip back to Kenosha my father in law sat quietly next to me, but finally opined that he didn't "think that the Mays fellow was all that good." Murphy's law again. The next day he hit three homers.
Why are my MLB scores unavailable?
I went to a Yankees-Rangers game in arlington many years ago. We got autographs from the yankees at their hotel before the game. We had seats downt the first base line my brother was hit by a derek jeter foul ball, broke his collar bone, and bounced all the way back into the field of play. Derek Jeter autographed the baseball and the first base coach brought it out to us. Then we spent a lot of the game in the first aide lol.i went ot the game a couple weeks ago when clemens said he was coming back to the yankees. it is so memorable to me because it was my birthday when he announced n it made me feel like that was his present to me
What two hitters won back to back triple crowns?
I went to a Diamondbacks-Dodgers game in 2005 for my bachelor party. There were about 20 of us in the stands (at Bank One Ballpark), and directly behind us were about 200 screaming Dodger fans. My dad kept buying like ten beers at a time for our group, and he even bought a few for some of the guys behind us (maybe just to keep us from getting beat up).Anyway, the Diamondbacks ended up winning in the bottom of the ninth on a bases loaded walk issued by the Dodger pitcher. Also, Javier Vazquez was pitching for the Diamondbacks, and we witnessed his first career home run.

Ive only been to about 5 baseball games so i dont have as many memories to choose from as other people. At a game between the Orioles and Athletics last year they gave out Melvin Mora shirts to the first 15000 fans. We walked in to use the bathroom and got shirts...they let us go back out to get our tickets because they werent there yet and when we went back in we got more shirts. The real memory of that game though was an Athletics player hit 3 homeruns (2 were almost with-in my reach) Even though my team lost 3 homeruns in a game is amazing. What should I put on a poster board for a chicago cubs game?
I have very many great times at the ballparks i have been to over the years, but I think it was when I was very young and living outside Oaktown and was taken to my FIRST game. At the time the Oakland Colisuem was one of the best kept feilds in the american league. I remember walking up the ramp and first seeing sky, then the further up the ramp I got the more of the stadium I could see until finally as I got a big nosefull of freshly cut grass, there it was the most green, green grass i have ever seen even to this day.....Do you think th Atlanta Braves will win the world series this year?
