Let's see, a guy pitches well into his 40s at a level as good or better than he did in his early 30s. Oh, and he is a power pitcher too and their careers are always shorter. My guess is, he has used and, especially in light of his habit of starting a season late, probably still uses but because he technically isn't an MLB player that is subject to testing because he is "retired" in the off-season, he probably just quit using a few weeks ago. His personal trainer, in addition to using a date rape drug on a woman, has been linked to steroids by some. Let me guess, you are a yankee fan, and he is just trying to say the old "yankees are cheating because they have players that have used steroids" thing. Well, he might have, but i doubt it. He even said himself he was out of shape, so when he got bigger, he may have just gotten fatter over the offseasons.
