Does anyone know what an autographed Ted Williams rookie card is worth?
Some say its is to keep the other infileders arms warm because they handle the ball less than the first basemen. Others say it is tradition, and that baseball players are so superstitous, they wont break the tradition for fear of bad luck. Your guess is probably as good as mine.Where do I find my picture on the St. Louis Cardinals Website?
ask the baseball godsWill Roger Clemens sign with the Yankees, Red Sox or Astros?
I heard it is to keep all the infielders lose and the reason it doesnt go to first is because he never has to throw the ball if their is no one on base. Thats just what i heard but it sounds reasonable. The 1st basebmen is in on more plays then any of the other infielders so it was developed to keep the 3B,2B,and SS awake.
Is the currentt manager of your favorite team doing a good job?
idk have no clueIf he starts with the throw to third, it is considered bad karma with the baseball gods to allow the first baseman to touch the ball. If he fires to first to start it is okay so to do. That is why the first baseman does not touch the ball thrown around after an outfield fly out.
