Who is the best braves pitcher so far this year?

Answers:

Would you prefer being Barry Bonds or a below average player?

I would say Tim Hudson. He is 4 and 1 this year. He has a low ERA and has had two wins blown late in games already this year.

How many hit will it take for Houston # 7 to get 3000 hits?

At the moment is without a doubt Tim Hudson. He has all of his pitches working this season and is finally playing like everyone expected when he came over from Oakland. If he keeps this up all season then he will definitly have a shot at the Cy Young. Currently he is 4-1 with a 1.83 ERA, .97 WHIP, and a K/BB ratio of just over 3/1. More importantly he has yet to give up more than 3 runs in any start, which puts Atlanta in the position to win every game he starts.

I think that Smoltz has also pitched very well and at the end of the season there should be more a debate about this. He is currently 5-1, but his ERA is 3.25, WHIP 1.35, and K/BB is just under 3/1. The sad thing for Smoltz is that Atlanta is 7-1 in games he's started and that one loss was a game in which he gave up only 2 runs.

Keep an eye on Anthony Lerew though, he showed some great stuff on Tuesday and he's got the potential to be one of the great rookie pitchers this year.

Which pitcher has the most career major league victories without a no-hit game to his credit?

I would have to say Jorge Sosa, I mean the guy is 2-0 since being called up from the minors. OH! you mean guys that are actually playing for the Braves and not the guys that the Mets pick up to smack you around with. I would still have to say Jorge Sosa. Kyle Davies is your best pitcher, his numbers last year prove it. I hope that guy pitches in every clutch game for you from here on out. He is horrible. I love watching his mound antics and giving up a bomb. You would think he would be used to it by now. GO METS!!

Who thinks there is should be an astrict by Barry Bonds's name when he breaks the record?

Right now its Tim Hudson, but by the end of the season, I think it'll be John Smoltz.

Which Met should be the team's captain?

It would appear that Tim Hudson has got his groove back.

He's pitching strong going 7 to 8 inning on average. The most run he's given up this year is 3.

He's 4-1 with a 1.83 and a microscopic whip of 0.97.
