Yes, they should. Look, I dislike Bonds very much and I think he took away the authenticity of the game(with some help from others). But, you have to realize that with or without chemicals, he did contribute to it on his own. He did not always take steroids. Who knows? No - Barry's a loser and I firmly believe he took the 'roids. I just hate how it's been turned into a racial thing when it really doesn't matter what color he is. I am sure there will be.. even though it is apparent to most people that Bonds has enjoyed some unnatural growth (just look at the size of his head... nuff said).. there has been no concrete info that he did cheat..Baseball loves to be self-important with special awards and all that mess and gotten away from the game.. I pesronally can't stand Bonds, but then again I am a Dodgers fan and hate all the Giants, but again, I also don't really give to squats what an athlete does to his own body.. they will deal with the ramifications eventually.

maybe maybe not. In some ways, it would be wrong to do that because of his steroid use and his use of a corked bat. But it would be somewhat disrespectful for there to be no ceremony, I think they should either give him the ceremony and NOT put him in the hall of fame, or vice versa.Of course - all fans in attendance should receive needles and syringes, HGH, and a year's supply of the cream and the clear.

He may be approaching the #, but you have to figure that beating his career record by 24 (73 vs 49), he had the benefit of those 30 (or so) followed by 10, 12, 15 more in subsequent years.
It puts him at 67 less than he actually has and he has about 78 legit home runs to go to beat the record. Then, you can honour him.
