Who would you rather have on your team; Alex Rodriguez / David Wright? Explain?
Question:Major League Baseball Opinion Question
Answers:
Will Don Mattingly replace Joe Torre next year?
Depends. Right now - for right now? A-Rod. 10 years ago? Again, A-Rod. For the future? Wright (more years still ahead of him). Was someone stepping on John Kruk's tongue?
A-Rod, will pass Bonds as New Home Run King some day as a Giant. Why do baseball game play the song three caroline's?
Excluding the obvious financial differences, you have to take A-rod. Love him or hate him, clutch or not, over a season the numbers are not even close. Numbers never lie and look at it this way, without him this this year the Yankees would be even farther back!I'll take the guy that can lead his team to the playoffs and HIT in New York and in the clutch and that would be David Wright.
Who cares how many homers A-Rod has, it only counts in the postseason. Go Mets!
Help developing a baseball pitching motion?
David Wright is a young (5) tool player with a huge upside in years to come. However, Alex is a monster who could someday hit (800) homeruns. If your question would have been "who is a nicer guy or better teammate" I would have said David Wright. Alex Rodriguez and Albert Pujols are the best offensive players in the game todayWho is your favorite first basemen both offense and defense?
David Wright. He is younger and better third basemen. also does not crack under New York fall pressure.Who will close for the D-Rays?
No comparison. A-Rod.Which outfielders are gonna put up gooooood numbers this year from this list?
Both, I'd play Wright at 3B and A-Rod at his natural position: SS. Is that fair? What is Alex Rodriguez' record against Tim Wakefield?
Weighing all the factors, I'd say Wright. He has TONS fo talent as is and he is only going to get better, he costs less so I could put more towards other players if I owned a team, and he doesn't have a proven choke history in the playoffs.Who threw out the opening day pitch last night?
If $$ wasn't an issue, A-Rod. I wouldn't be playing him at 3rd base, though. He'd be back at SS where he was a gold glove caliber player. If my team was a small market team, I'd have to go with Wright for sole reason of needing to afford other players.More Questions & Answers...
