Name the baseball players you think might have been using steriods but have never been actually named publicly
Question:I know for sure there are guys out there who have used steriods but after all the investigations have stopped. There are players like Brian Giles wose numbers have fallen off drastically which we could probably blame on age, but are still very suspect in my eye. Adrian Beltre and Brett Boone are also on my list.
Answers:
Rate each pitcher and each position player from 1-100? overall?
President Bush and Hillary Rodham ClintonAfter all those steroids issues, do you think that Barry Bonds derserves all-time home run records?
Great question, there are tons of them.Curt Schilling
Roger Clemens
Rich Aurilia - blasted a ton of home runs when a teammate with Barry Bonds, years ago, and has done nothing since.
Brian Roberts, Orioles
Sammy Sosa - obvious
Brett Boone is another great one
Julio Franco - older and huger than ever
Andruw Jones - Braves. Cmon, give me a break. He is HUGE now.
Why are marlin fans so bad supporting their team?
Beltre came to mind first. Remember how big a stadium he plays in now though. Some other names though to think aboutBrady Anderson - little dude hit 50 HR's one season
Roger Clemens - you wait he's day will come
Richard Hildago - Hit 45 or so one season, hit like 14-18 the nest season
Greg Vaughn - He smashed some moon jobs, and his forarms were the size of an everyday 2B's head.
Phil Nevin - His numbers all but fell off the earth with his career
Jeremy Burnitz - what happened he hit 30 a couple years in a row then couldnt hit a duck with a rake all a sudden.
Just a few I could think of. !!
Do i just need one sliding pad or two?
I ABSOLUTELY agree with you about Brett Boone, however I think it might be too early to decide about Beltre-although I would concede to you if he finishes this year like he did last year.I would like to add Luis Gonzalez to your list, look at his numbers for EVERY year of his career compared to the "Steroid Years".
Also, and it KILLS me to say this as a Yankee fan, but...
I'd like to also add Tino Martinez to the list. The timing of his power surge years is just a little too fishy.
Lets not forget pitchers too. Would it really surprise you if Kerry Wood's injury issues turned out to be because of roids? Carl Pavano? How about John Wettland? He was lights out for a couple years, and then dissappeared off the face of the earth.
But hey...maybe just the balls were juiced after all.
Long Live Hamerin' Hank!!
Should I put a Cub's question here, in sports, or in the joke section?
is it just me or is Frank Thomas HUGE. i'm not saying he used steroids, but seriously. he is a beast. he must workout a ton if steroids aren't involved. By the way, Schilling has never used steroids, he's not big, he's gettin' a beer belly for gods sakes.Where is the info about baseball team names, roster for the years of existence?
David Ortiz?I'm opening day Pitcher on Monday, please give opinons!?
Roger ClemensKerry Woods
Mark Pryor
Don Zimmer
Don't just name random people. I think it's absurd to say it about Kerry Wood and Mark Prior. I've seen a few people name them. They were great pitchers. If they were ever heathy again, they would be great again. Just because somebody had a career year once, doesn't mean they were on steroids. That sh** is stupid.
Believe it or not there are some players in the game that just simply no how to play.
This is 4 real newyork mets fans not bandwagoners?
No one said Ryan Klesko (i.e., Ex. Atlanta Brave). Well, that is because he played for my Padres. But rest asssured, he did!! I surfed with the beast when he was. Look at pictures of him 2005: Scary!!Who is better the Yankees or Mets?
