Posada or McCann??

Question:My fantasy baseball team is demolishing the competition and I have Posada already. But looking at his career, he's NEVER bat for better than .300 in a season.

Should I dump him while he's hot? My buddy is offering McCann right now and I'm a bit uneasy. Obviously, McCann is ranked higher (preseason). It's hard to trend against Posada's past years because he's never done so well this far into the season.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

I would go with McCann, the younger and more up-and-coming of the two. Posada has been around awhile now, and is more likely to slow down as the season progresses.

Posada is steady eddy. He isnt going to go on too many hot streaks but he isnt going to slump either. McCann still is young and prone to slumps but their is a lot of potential in his bat as hes already showed. Id say stick with Posada hes going to see more pitches in the lineup hes in with the yankees. McCann next year will be good.

Do the trade. If you are in a keeper league and you don't do this trade, you will regret it for a long time. Posada is a fine player, but McCann is going to be something special. He's already showing that. As a member of the Braves line-up, he will have plenty of opportunities to score runs, and knock them in.

Take McCann. If your team is winning I don't think it will make much of a difference. Both players are good.
