Brewers and their potential?
Question:The Brewers look like the best team in the NL central and as of today are tied for the 2nd best record in the NL and tied for 3rd best in MLB.
Their young talent is really coming together with J.J. Hardy just exploding and what I believe is the best starting pitching staff in the NL with a great bullpen duo with Cordero and Turnbow.
Do you like me think that this team could do some serious damage if they do and i believe will make the playoffs?
I know the season is still early but I'm super excited.
The Mets might have a great offense but like the Yankees I don't think they have great pitching (Pedro probably won't be the old Pedro)
In the NL Central I worry about the Cardinals because of Pujols and their offense but their pitching is lackluster.
Answers:
Why do baseball managers wear numbers and uniforms, is there a chance they will play in the game ??
If the team stays healthy, the Brewers can definitely do some damage this year. The starting rotation is unquestionably the best in the NL Central and with Turnbow and Cordero pitching lights out, you have to feel good when the Brewers lead after 7 innings. However, the pitching staff (*cough* Aquino *cough*) has given up a lot of runs in the Brewers nine losses and are in the bottom half of the league in runs scored. Although they have one of the best records in baseball, the Brewers have been outscored by opponents this season 113-110.
None of this matters though... what counts is having one more win at the end of the season than the second place team. The rest of the NL Central doesn't look so hot right now, so the division is the Brewer's to lose.
What I fear the most is the June swoon; I'll start getting excited for October when the Brewers are in first by 10 games at the All Star break.
Cubs Suck hahahaha money can't buy a championship (you too Yankees)
42-120
I am begging you for a favor...?
So far so good for them though i don't think they are the best in the game but in the central i don't see anyone beating them. The only thing stopping them is the fact that they have some injury prone players like J.J Hardy, Corey Koskie, and Rickie Weeks. If they can stay healthy then they can do some serious damage.I don't think they could stand up to the Mets because the Mets' pitching staff is very underrated John Maine is 3-0, Oli Perez can be impossible to hit, Glavine is Glavine, and El Duke is consistent enough. And witht hat offense i just don't see how anyone in the national league is going to stop them.
I think they are a sleeper to win the division this year my guess is 88-74 which isn't bad
I love there potential and i hope they win there division or at least the wild card. One problem that i have is the manager, until we get rid of him i dont think we will go far. we also need another lefty in the bullpen to help shouse. i can wait for the brewers to make the playoffs and lets hope its this year. Go Brewers!
What exactly is an infield fly?
They will win the Central barring injury problems. A young team going into the playoffs for the first time generally doesn't do well, however. The offense needs to be more explosive for me to consider them as WS participants this season; I'm already sold on their starters, but Sheets MUST stay healthy. Will the Mariners be in the bottom 5 teams in standings?
They may well make it post season this year, but if so, they won't make it any farther. Not yet, not this year. But the operative word is yet. They'll learn from not moving on this season, and over the next two, yes, I can see them doing a lot of damage. It's just a bit early for them this year.
That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be excited about that team.
Ok even though I am a Giants fan I would like to see the Brewers take the NL wild card (Cubs take the NL central...even though it's highly unlikely)
