Little league rule for not playing a player in a game ? child plays in the LL magers?

An inning is when both the opponent and home team have gone through three outs. An out is determined by catching a ball that the batter hits or striking out which is when the batter swings three times without getting a hit however if he fouls it then he is still not out. To walk a guy means a batter recieves four un-hitable throws from the pitcher and sometimes very good hitters are walked to prevent them from hitting and possibly scoring

A double header is when you play to games in one day.when the pitcher walks the batter with 4 pitches he can not hit.I grew up around the game.My dad was a simi pro baseball coach.

Twins vs. Mets in the WS?

You might want to consider getting a book like "Baseball for Dummies" - there is a lot to learn in this game. (I've followed it all of my life and still don't completely understand it. I think thats one of the reasons why I love it so much.)

Anyhow to answer your questions:

A Double header means two teams playing two consecutive games on the same day. In the minors they are usually 7 inning games, but in the majors they are 9 innings.

An inning is when each team gets their At bats - if they make three outs then they are done and the other team goes to the bat.

If a batter has three strikes called against him - whether by swinging the bat or having the ball go thru the strike zone of the batter (usually from under the arms to above the knees, while being over the home plate,. but that depends on the umpire) then they are out. But if the pitcher (the guy standing on the mound) throws 4 pitches that are outside of that strike zone, and the batter does not swing at them, then he gets a walk and is able to go to first base on his own.

Who likes baseball?

A double header is two games played back
to back by the same teams.
In an inning both teams come to bat. When both teams
get three outs(they hit the ball and it is caught or they
strike out) the inning is over. There are nine innings
in a game.
If the pitcher "walks" a guy he throws the batter
4 balls(a pitch outside the strike zone)and the batter gets to go to first base. I hope I helped.
