Instant replay....?

Question:Are you for or against using the instant replay system in major league baseball?

Answers:

Does MLB count the stats from before 1876?

100% against instant replay in baseball. There is nothing instant replay can do that will enhance the game. Umpires are right on almost every call they make and having instant replay doesn't mean that they'll get the rest of them right. Look at the NFL, they have replay - but there are still calls that are wrong or can't be overturned because there isn't indisputable evidence. Same would be true for baseball, except in baseball you would open the door for replay to be allowed on balls/strikes calls and that's just insanity.

agaisnt the umpires get calls 97% right. I read it in Sports Illustraded

Should Rafael Palmeiro be kept out of the Hall of Fame?

Against, in my opinion it is ok for an ump to blow a call now and then. It's part of the game, you live with it.

Plus, instant replay in NCAA is long and boring, it slows up the game and just an excuse for marketers to jam more commercials in the program.

Why does it look as if mlb players are always wearing new caps?

Against. Extremely against.

What MLB team does nick logan play for?

They should use instant replay for borderline home run calls because there is always fan interference or something and the umpires dont have a great view from their positions on the field so they blow a lot of those calls.

With baseball just underway.?

I would be against it because baseball is the only remaining sport that uses human judgment. That's what makes it so great.

Why do some people think Armstrong never cheated but Bonds did?

Absolutely not.

Clint Hurdle needs to get it back together after his recent hissy fit.

Baseball Question?

I am for it. I think all calls should be correct.

Where can i find abbott and costello routine, based on the red sox lineup?

This is a tough question. I can see both sides of the argument. I, personally, do not want it in baseball. If it were used to see if a person was safe or not, or if a homerun was a homerun or not, then I can see it.But definately not for balls and strikes. The game is long as it is, and the season is even longer. The human element of the game is what makes it great. I say, keep it out of baseball.

Infield Shift?

Definitely against it. I think that it would only slow the game down, which is generally bad for the sport. I could tolerate it if it was only used for home runs. Otherwise, I think professional umpires usually do their job pretty well.

Is Derek Jeter playing tonight?

Instant replay for HR balls. As an indians fan with Jacobs field, the railing out by the bleachers with the fans grabbing the baseballs. Its hard to tell what is a HR and what is not! I dont want an ump blowing a call in the playoffs. At least have replay for the playoffs!
