Question:OK so after 15 years of playing softball I'm finally done. I feel like I got laid off from a job and lost my friends all at once. Any advice from former "washed up" athletes might help thank you.

Does the mizuno crush 2 softball bat tend to break or crack easily ?
I played college baseball for a small college in East Texas. I went through the same thing after I graduated. I played organized baseball from the time I was 5 until I was 23.Now I umpire high school games in the spring, I coach a little league team in the summer, and I play in 2 different softball leagues in the fall. I also have season tickets to the Houston Astros. I just try to stay involved with the sport as much as possible, it also helps to keep in "playing shape".

Well, lots of towns/cities or local volunteer organizations like churches or firehalls have adult softball leagues, both coed and single sex, so you could always try that. What your favorite player on the twins?
Contact your local Park District and get into coaching or umpiring. Especially if you are staying in the same neighborhood you grew up in. That's what I did.You may end up coaching your friend's children, which is kind of neat. It's actually a great motivational tool to be able to tell a kid you're coaching that you know for a fact that he's a better player than his old man.
15 years! wow...that is a long time.
