Question:Many atheletes in baseball these days are now using a personal blog page like the most famous Curt Schillings (38pitches.com) to give the most recent udates on games and sometimes the most recent transactions of a team but should they be using blogs or should they just have an official webpage like Roger Clemens, and Barry Bonds. What do you think
Answers:
Scott Rolen?
Sometimes is is good for the fans to have the personal blog, I have looked at Curt Schillings blog many times and it is very intresting. He announced that Papelbon was going to the bullpen one day before it was officialy anounced, and that is where he made his full apology to Barry Bonds. Really the blog is better for fans, then for the organazation. The Red Sox were not really mad but they did feel, "a bit mis-trusted" as Terry Francona said but I mean it is really the athletes choice. Really I would go with the blog for the fans but really do not do everything through it like Curt Schilling does. But the blog is a better idea if you want to connect to your fans more.
