Why r the new york yankees struggling this season and do u think they'ell make the playoffs?

they are struggling because of the pitching staff. BUT we got roger clemens back and hopefully he can turn things around. maybe raise the pitchers morale or something, just something good.

I hope they make playoffs. division seems kind of hard so i would have to say wildcard. its too early to say anything anyways so lets just hope.

The New York Yankees are struggling this season because of their pitching mostly. If it wasn't for their offence they would probably be very close to last in the MLB. They just can't keep their pitchers healthy. IF they are going to make a run for the playoffs they need to start to bring guys back from the DL and stop adding more to the DL and continue their good hitting.

Their pitching was bad at the beginning of the season, part of it can be attributed to injuries. Joe Torre has been criticized for using the bullpen very fast, and they got tired. Mariano Rivera has blown a few saves, except i think he will come back and be fine. The hitting has been great, I think the yanks are averaging the most runs in the majors per game. They should end up doing fine, I'm predicting another Division Championship.
