my strategy is typically to have more bench players as pitchers so you can maximize their starts. You have WAY too many hitters on the bench.Howard is injured now (and having a poor season) but typically, when would you ever play Overbay? Biggio, when do you start him, only when Roberts rests?
Wigginton starts at 1b, 2b, 3b, of in most leagues, keep him and sub him in where it makes the most sense and either trade of dump those other guys.
I don't know if I would ever have gonzalez on my team. Peralta's not great, but better than Gonzalez.
Throw Howard into the DL slot, start Overbay, trade or dump Biggio and Jenkins, dump gonzalez, DH bonds (when he decides to play) and decide who is going to start, Pence or Pierre and stick to it. Then get SPs.
However, how many teams are in your league? To get Howard, Martinez, Sizemore, Sheets and Santana is quite the feat.

hate to tell you.. but i cant see you going very far with this team... you have pretty good pitchers... but not good enough to go far. Your offense is terrible. im sorry. You have a few sluggers but they are not playing to full potential so far this year.Will Braves Wins National League East?
you need more saves,try to get accardo and tankersly if they are still available and no others are on the fa list,replace meredith and broxton with them,if your going to use relief pitchers might as well use some who might get you a good ammount of saves.See if theres something better then alex gonzalez for ss,he won't stay hot all year.And DL Howard as others mentioned and get someone in there who will put up some numbers for youMore Questions & Answers...
