I can't stand the Braves but Murphy deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He was a good clutch hitter on some crummy Atlanta teams. he played the game the way it was meant to be played. If Ryne Sandberg is in, Murphy should be too.Why don't the baseball players play in short-shorts?

unfortunately not, the sports writers are narrow minded and the players have NEVER voted anybody inhe was a good player back in the day. hopefully the voters will eventually put him in. i think he deserves to be in.

No. His career took a sharp downturn during his last few seasons, and knee problems shut it down altogether. Not quite enough for the Hall.no.
