Toronto Blue Jays, they have a better pitching staff and as good if not better of an offense. Don't let Mets staff fool you, they are a decent rotation but not one of the top 5 in the MLB or even the NL. Blue Jays have the 2nd best pitcher in hte league in Roy Halladay and if AJ Burnett can live up to his contract he is very good.Was there in the past a pitcher named Greg Slupski who played for the San Francisco Giants?

Right now the Mets are the better team. Top to bottom they have one of the most prolific offenses in the NL they have the ability to hit 4 average, power, sore alot of runs and have great speed. With Beltran and Reyes they will score a on of runs and steal a lot of bases, then with Delgado and Wright will hit the Mets many HR's. So top to bottom the Mets are by far the superior team.What 4 hitters have won MVP's playing on 2 different teams.?
While i hate the mets with a passion since im a philly phan...I would have to say the mets. the left side of their infiled is amazing, delgado has the experience, outfield has beltran, one of the best closers in the game, and a pitching staff that is winning games even without pedro.BJs have about the same closer, starters arent as good even though halladay is easily better than glavine, but i dont see how they would be able to outscore the mets with their lineup. Maybe in 2 or 3 years the BJs will be better with their young bats, but as of now, Mets are easily the better team.

The Toronto Blue Jays are better.The Jays rotation features Roy Halladay, a perennial Cy Young contender, along with A.J. Burnett and Gustavo Chacin. At the back end, they're very solid with B.J. Ryan.
The Mets have future hall of famer, but underwhelming Tom Glavine, Orlando Hernandez, Oliver Perez, John Maine and Mike Pelfrey. And Wagner at the back end.
Advantage: Blue Jays
On offense, the Jays feature Troy Glaus, Frank Thomas, Lyle Overbay, Alex Rios and Vernon Wells. Their only weakness is at shortstop.
The Mets trot out Carlos Beltran, Carlos Delgado, Jose Reyes and David Wright. Moises Alou just doesn't scare me. LoDuca is a wash with Greg Zaun. Second base is a weak spot for the Mets with Jose Valentin, and so is RF with Shawn Green.
Advantage, although slim: Blue Jays
Defensively, Aaron Hill and Royce Clayton are solid up the middle. Glaus doesn't have premier range, but fields and throws well, and overbay is a vaacum cleaner at first. Rios, Wells and Reed Johnson all have good range and strong arms. And Zaun is solid behind the place.
For the Mets, Reyes and Wright are outstanding on the right side of the infield. Valentin is a liability at second and Delgado's range and skills are limited by his age and size. In the outfield, Carlos Beltran is outstanding... but surrounded by aging players with limited range in Shawn Green and Moises Alou. Lo Duca is, as well, a very solid catcher.
Advantage: Blue Jays

Neither..i LOVE the Yankees! Especially Jeter and A-Rod and Rivera too. But if i really had to pick like in a life or death situation, i would pick the Blue Jays b/c they have a better pitching staff and if not better offense then the Mets.
